Mcintosh c31v vs. c35 - pensieri?

Good morning,

I’m interested in getting one of the two preamps, mainly because of the presence of the EQ band (5 frequencies). Do you have any opinions about them?

Are they worth it or not?

Pros and cons? Differences?

I'm not familiar with the C31v..or the C35... but if they are anything like the C32 I use in a vintage system I have, you will like the flexibility that the 5 band EQ provides to fine tune the music to your room..and  to your liking. These older Mac pre-amps are very good if they have been taken care of and perhaps restored.. or are ready to be worked on to bring them back to life. I think you will like either of your choices.
