speakers have clear plastic binding posts that should accept bananas but black rubber blocks the hole. What is it that I need to do? Should be a simple answer as many models have this. thanks
Take a razor blade or thin flat screwdriver and pop out the black plugs. The EU made speaker makers block those holes because consumers were putting the AC power cords into those holes. Really, I'm not making this up. Google "EU bans banana plugs".
