Jeff- I have had similar problems getting "universal remotes" to work with NAD products. Often no code, or code only works partially. Wish I could offer some suggestions; only sympathy.
Try a "learning" remote. They are programmed using the original remote. They receive the signal from the original remote and store it instead of just using what is already stored. Have you asked your local NAD dealer? If they carry learning remotes, I'm sure they know what works. They might even let you try it before you buy it.
