Oppo BDP-95

The Oppo BDP-95 has many digital outputs. I am planning on hooking it up to a Bel Canto Dac3.5vb Mk II. Have any of you had tried the above set-up? Also, any suggestions on what digital output to use on the Oppo BDP-95? Thanks, and yes, I am a newbie so I apologize if this is a dumb question!

I have used both the xlr and hdmi. The xlr where a little softer and the hdmi a tad more detailed,but a little harder sounding. I think it will be your choice to see what you like....good luck

Has anybody compared the sound of the Oppo BDP-95 to the Oppo BDP-105?  I have found that -to my surprise,  that the 95 sounds better than the 105.  Blacker background.  Supposedly both players have the same deck chip, but somethings making the 95 shine through better. Please let me know if you find the same. I know I'm digging into some old posts here, but hoping somebody else is doing the same. -Ted.
