Pass Preamps

I owned the X-1 and X-250 for many years. It was one of the best SS preamps and amps that I heard especially for the used prices they go for. To me a SS component will not sound the same as a tube unit. You gain some benefits with each so it is up to what you prefer. The Pass gear mates very well together.

I have owned several items over the years that were part of the Nelson Pass progression of products. From the Nakamichi SR series to Threshold and Pass.....all were among the best in their time and category.  I would guess you would be satisfied with any of the pre-amps Mr. Pass was part of.

Ya I was reading and then I see 2005 im like wtfff.
But I was thinking about a pass pre. XP30, 32 or maybe XS Pre (if I can find a deal). Its funny that Whitecamaross said XP30 is the worst preamp hes ever heard in 2020.. facepalm.
