You should check out Amazon or a crafts store for velvet ribbon, which you could attach with some double-sided tape or rubber cement. My Nitty Gritty uses velvet lips as well and they seem to last quite a long time. But I don't use it that often, truth be told.
Question for "Vinyl Vac" users.
I have been using the Vinyl Vac for several years to dry records after cleaning with good results. However, I find the velvet strips need to be replaced often and Vinyl Vac charges $15 for four 4'' replacement strips. I suspect that a roll of several feet would cost less but I have not been able to find anything that appears similar. Has anyone found an alternative? If so would you please share, if possible with a link? Thank you.
