don ellis and his orchestra, chicago transit authority, the buckinghams, the electric flag, chase(epic) ides of march(warner), paul butterfield blues band (after east-west,on elecktra), james walsh gypsy band(rca), manfred mann chapter three(vertigo), the one and only ohio players, rhinosaurus(elecktra), all the Al Kooper stuff, and much much more.....

Another Columbia horn band that came out of Chicago was The Flock. Also check out the Sons of Chaplin.
