Recommended cables for NHT 2.9

I'm looking for smooth, mellow speaker cables ($200 and under - used) that would work well with the NHT 2.9. I've read that the MIT Terminator is good (and I may get the T2 biwire), but I'd like more opinions. Presently I'm using cheap, old $1.75-ft Monster Cable in a bi-wire configuration from a Counterpoint SA-220. The cables are 4ft long on either side. Thanks for your help ;-)

Whoops! Regarding your response, I just happened to have upgraded my cables. I spent substaintially more money on a different cable but did not notice a big improvement. I'm not selling the new ones, so if your interested in a double run of 8TC's 8ft long, in good condition for $250. Let me know
I am using LAT International SS-800. Ridiculously cheap and incredibly sounding. Tried Analysis Plus Oval 9 but it did not sound as good as the LAT
Audio Advisor sells mail order discount cables. Also, Echo hifi sells used ones. A good way to try for extended times.
Here's what you need to do.Go to lowes hardware store and get some AR industrial pure cooper wire. It's dirt cheap and sounds good.I'm sorry but this cable and wire hysteria is a bunch of B.S. 89vett
I personally work for an audio/video store. We carry NHT was one of our speaker lines. With fine speakers like these you wouldn't want to use anything less than matching quality. We use Rara Labs speaker cable with our NHT 2.9. Here are some of the Tara Lab cables I would recommend: 1) Prism Bi-Wire Retail $170.00 8ft pr (good performance) 2) RSC Prism 1000 Bi-Wire Retail $290.00 8ft pr (better) 3) RSC Prism 1800 Bi-Wire Retail $700.00 8ft pr (best) I know this might seem crazy for spending that kind of money on cables. But cables are what get from Point A to Point B. If that isn't any good what is. Just my own personal opinion. Have any other questions feel free to email me.
