you have to open the box to change tubes and in some models tubes are soldered into PCB..I do not own this player but from what I read. I believe that you need to remove up to 16 screws to make the change. With some models the tubes are soldered directly to the pc board.The best of luck..

Can anyone tell me how to replace the tubes in an Ayon CD 07?
Specifically, what screws need to be removed to gain access to the tubes?
I have contacted Ayon USA several times and was promised a video link that would show how the tubes are replaced but as of yet I have not received an answer.
