Review: Y B A CD-1 CD Player
Category: Digital
A great detailed yet analog sounding player. I own one, following a few stints with transport/DAC combinations. The player is quite revealing but offers a non-fatuging sound that lets me listen for long listening periods without tiring, unline many other digital offerings. The player is a bit dated compared to the latest digital, but in areas of power supply and analog stage, the player has a lot of expensive parts and well engineered design that still keep it at the super high end. With the used prices on them, they are great value compared to other digital options at the price. Recommended.
