Rvpiano - In my garage system, I had the same problem as you. I unplugged the integrated, opened the top panel and blasted all the knobs with this:
Wouldn't ya know it... It worked. Now, what works for my POS Aiwa garage receiver may not be the best choice for you. There is no mention of the gear you are using. If you are using say a good vintage Audio Research SP10 or SP11 multi-component preamp, hitting it with CRC is probably not a good idea. My garage Aiwa, I could care less.
