Ross Martin Audio Super Beast or Benchmark Dac1

I have the Super Beast and it sounds great and its specs are better too. But I've never actually heard the newer Benchmark Dac1's I understand they sound better than the old used one's that I have heard and rejected as inferior to my Beast both sound and price wise But, I sure would like a remote and a pre-amp analog input neither of which the $350 dollar new Ross Martin top of the line has although it seems to have everything else. I'm open to suggestions for other high quality but reasonable dacs with XLR outs, a remote volume control and a set of analog inputs.
