Simaudio 750/650 could they replace DAC plus CD

I am looking at the SimAudio 750 or 650 DAC/CD player as a way to avoid a cd player and separate DAC. Every thing I have read says that the DAC's are reference quality. My question, would every thing in one box be as good as a separate transport and DAC? I would use them with Avalon Ascendents and a pair of Pathos Classic II's bridged.
