Source for resistors for an acoustech/sutherland phono preamp

Could someone give me a link to buy resistors 47k and under. I bought some but they are much bigger than what they replaced. I have an Ortofon black that I’m tweaking by using resistors under 47k. I’m trying to expand the bottom end. The ortofon specs call for 50k to 200k loading. I’ve read that under 50k is optimal. I know this sounds wrong and contradicts Ortofon but I can't  get the bottom end that my Dynavector 20x2 had. The resistors are an easy switchout but the ones I got from Parts Connexion are huge. About 10 times or more larger. Would the size affect performance?

I just reached out to Michael Percy regarding some high quality 47k, 100K, 100R, 1000R rca plugs for my JLTI that I'm finally using after 3 years. It had a terrible hiss, so I put it in the closet. Recently Chakster helped me get the Luxmann up with arms and carts, JLTI is loaded and sounds great. No hissing. Still need those MM plugs!

Expensive resistors are not going to cure hiss, unless an existing resistor is "broken", in which case any fully functional resistor of the same value and equal or better voltage and wattage rating will also cure the hiss.  What I am saying is that cheap or run of the mill resistors that are fully functional at their rated value in ohms are not the cause of hiss.

But apparently putting your JLTI in the closet for a few years did cure the hiss.

is it true that using Shunyata Black Mamba and Audioquest King Cobra together changes the hiss level?
