romney80 I just saw you r response to my statement. I did not mean to state my opinion as an absolute guide to follow. To be more clear, since so many places no longer have actual stereo stores, I believe we must take others' listening opinions with the proverbial grain of salt, bu ttj=hen seek out a store or home demonstration, when possible.. An extreme example of where this feeling comes from can be found in the rants of how wonderful everyone says his system is on the Audio Review site. I am guilty of such. We all are to some degree. I did not mean to suggest that we ignore the opinions on Audiogon, especially since this community does have a lot of experience with many different products; however, we still need to be aware that many of us have not been exposed to a great number of products, and that we tend to like what we have. As James Bonjiorno of Great American Sound (Ampzilla) warned us: If we take six people with their own LP's and CD's to each other's homes, each system will sound best with the media of the owner of the system. I like to add: We buy systems to sound best on what we listen to, and vice versa. We are all biased, and must remember that. Good Luck with your search. Cheers
