Still no real feedback on Cornwall IV - Any update?

There are a handful of reviews of them, from posters here, all positive.

Horn speakers are very hard to beat for rock and jazz due to the easy dynamics and efficiency.  You really should try to get in front of a set of classic JBL's or Klipsch or modern type Avantgarde and see if it suits you.  

I owned two sets of LaScala's both used.  Stock was ok but I was not that impressed and hot rodded I thought they were fairly to moderately amazing.  I own one set hot rodded and alternate between ML Summit stats and the Klipsch and love both speakers.

Don't know anything about the newer models or revisions from Klispch but if your set on new I would try to get in front of a set as they might rock you.

Avantgarde seems quite expensive, not in my league I'm afraid!I'm not convinved by electrostatics, but the Summit is a nice hybrid... I'll keep looking.VolitAudio is definitely on my list, but here again just above my price range

I live in Alaska and classic Klipsch are very affordable as their used to be a dealer who represented Klipsch and sold a boatload.  Because of the size and cost of shipping there is a very limited market for used Klipsch in the state.  A set of classic LaScala's normally run under 1K and my set cost 700 bucks.  Put in a couple of killer drivers/horns and a crites crossover based on the mid/high specs and you can have a killer rock system for 2-3K.

Volti I have never heard but Greg used to modify Klipsch and knows what he is doing.  His woodworking is superb and a set of his speakers would be a score and a half.

Yes my Summits are a ball and I can listen to the blues/folk/americana/vocal type artists with wonderful clarity but they still have the balls to make rock fun listening.

  I was in a dealership that sells  Klipsch and he said everybody buys Paradigm and Tannoy instead.  Sometimes you have to question the motivation.  However, the cabinets, drivers and crossovers are all new in the Cornwall IV.   Volti has some impedance dips but are very good sounding based on reviews.   i have Crites speakers and like them a lot.  The cabinet size is about the same as the CW4.
