Audionet and Accuphase both have US importers/distributors. Gryphon don't, which means importing from Europe might be an option for US citizens.

I haven't but at .88 to the Euro I would.I have coveted a Diablo for a very long time.

I was thinking if I buy from US dealer, they will probably keep the extra profit from the exchange rate.

Now the world is printing money, we have strong $ and one of the reasons oil is cheap. Yen is getting creamed!

Does anyone have suggestions how to proceed in buying direct outside US other than Google? Interested in Gryphon, Audionet, Accuphase A-200 ...

That is funny...I thought about buying Gryphon last week because of the strong dollar. Many people are predicting the dollar will go to parity with the Euro, and hopefully back to 0.88 when it hit highs shortly after mini recession in 2002 I believe.

I recall buying new Vienna Acoustic speakers direct from a dealer in Europe back in those times when the USD was stronger than the Euro. If that does happen, I possibly may buy from Europe again. At least would become a viable option again.
