Unfortunately, I can't help with your question, but I did want to comment that I used to own the LP and now have the SACD. Both are very enjoyable, though I agree that the sound quality leaves a bit to be desired. The performance, though, is outstanding. My friend spent a small fortune to attend the show, and he says it was one of the defining moments of his life. Wish I could've been there. I saw the original Wall performance by Floyd at Nassau Coliseum in New York. What an experience!
The Wall - Live In Berlin LP Question
Last night I was playing the marvelous Wall - Live In Berlin LP set when I noticed that the first record said that it was manufactured in the Netherlands and the second LP says that it is manufactrured in the USA and has "DMM Masterdisk" hand scribed in the dead wax. I bought the set many years ago used, but the lables on both records match perfectly and there seems to be even wear on both records. Were all of these sets made like this? Oh, BTW, I really cannot recommend this set highly enough to fans of this genre of music. The only caveat is that the recording quality is not very good, which may put it out for many of you.
