Ah, innovation & creativity vs. the dollar. In these ecoonmic times, the allmighty dollar will win trump creativity everytime. Sad, but I think true.
Tired and formulaic:the 2-way standmount....
Is it me...or is the market simply oversaturated with bass reflex designs, danish or outsourced drivers, and standard box enclosures? Where has the innovation and creativity gone? There appears to be a plethora of these designs...and a rather homogenous sound evolving...the difference being phasecorrect models, planars,etc....anyone else agree? Or have we reached the pinnacle of box-designed sound?
