I'll start with my #1: avoid putting speakers that are too big in a room that is too small

Exactly why hi-end audio is so difficult and frustrating. You can spend $20k for and amp and still be suffering from trade-offs. It never ends..................

Audio is great, and it ain't rocket science. The problem with high-end audio, is the high-end part.
