Trouble with audio video sync

I hooked up a oppo 103 to my rotel 1068 preamp processor using the analog cables, since the rotel does not have hdmi,my problem is that on some blu ray music videos and some movies the music or sound comes slightly ahead.so far have reset oppo to factory settings, made sure the video is off on my rotel,but still have the problem, so I hope somebody out there has a solution. Would gladly try anything.

Are you using the 5.1 analog in (multi-in) setting on the Rotel? If not you are decoding the sound in your blu-ray and then re-coding/decoding in your Rotel. Probably a 10-15ms delay.

Make sure you have the sound settings in the Oppo right (i.e., HDMI audio OFF), etc.

I'm watching a PBS show right now and the audio is off. Fortunately, my Marantz AV8801 has a delay feature in the audio menu. 12ms delay did the trick.
