I wouldn't test it out on something you don't mind sacrificing in case it turns out you can't clean flexidiscs in ultrasonic...
Ultrasonic cleaning of 45 flexidiscs?
Just got a Vevor Ultrasonic vinyl cleaning machine and going through my entire collection with great results using RO water [have whole house RO, so is "free"] at 40–50C with dish soap for 30 minute runs for nine records followed by vacuuming off excess water with Pro-ject, short air dry. Works well for 12, 10, and 7".
I have a few flexi 45s [Joy Division, Eyeless in Gaza, Flesh in the Morning, The Ex, Leathers, Boy Harsher]. Any experience with using ultrasonic on flexis? What temperatures are safe? I think vacuuming is not a good idea due to the flexible nature of flexis, so may need a DI rinse afterwards, microfibre then air drying.
TIA for any experiences and insights
