The cool factor- who has it? @mylogic - What a shame about Dave Cousins, yeah? We were just talking about him recently...
Let's talk music, no genre boundaries @toddalin - well, that's a new one on me - I've never heard of Loggins & Messina mentioned in the same paragraph as 'prog rock'; they have good songs, but when did they change from that country-folk-ish pop? Are any mellotrons involved? Thos...
Let's talk music, no genre boundaries @audio-b-dog - some examples of prog rock artists would include Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Rush, Gentle Giant, Van Der Graaf Generator, and more contemporaneously, Steven Wilson and his projects and with Porcupine Tree. When he tours, he plays to...
Let's talk music, no genre boundaries @toddalin - Prog rock has never gone away; check out some of the great many prog rock YouTube channels for a start; plenty of it still going on all over the world. May not sound like Gentle Giant, but that's what Gentle Giant recordings are for. H...
Do people hate Eversolo on here? Or is it liked some? Fine by me - I've got an A6 and am very happy with it; good value for money, and I'd look into their other products, too.. If I ever need support, I will email 'service@eversolo.com' or go to the form on their website at https://www.eversolo.com/...
Concentration @richardbrand - reminds me of a quote an old music critic said about the great German composer, "Wagner's music is better than it sounds.".
Are you hearing the instruments or the music? If it plays music, it will carry me to music land. I was that way when I was a teenager with a cheap handheld transistor radio or clock radio, and I'm that way with a system costing tens of thousands of US dollars. Gear doesn't make my toes tap, m...
Selling towers - keep getting bad actors/scammers when doing local pickup only. @bubba12 - too right - $850 is not much when it comes to cash transactions. I've had buyers who were happy to bring over thousands of dollars in cash.
Let's talk music, no genre boundaries @desktopguy + 1 - I'll go with the whole package - I'm a mindless, technicolor drone rat! You're probably right about the gray, though....
Selling towers - keep getting bad actors/scammers when doing local pickup only. If it's big and heavy enough, I always do local pickup; sold speakers and amps that way through Agon or USAM, the buyer came by with cash, we did the transaction, and everybody was happy. It takes longer to sell, of course, but it's worth it to me...
Focals latest - Cat Houses? @viridian + 1 - that's what I think of as 'cat house'! - that other I'd call a 'scratching post'.
The cool factor- who has it? @mylogic + 1
Let's talk music, no genre boundaries Since I disagree, I can't decide if I'm a mindless drone or a technicolor rat.
Buying used from Canada @mylogic + 1 - I think that's a wise decision for you. @pdreher + 1 - and so many others, all around the world.
The cool factor- who has it? Not sure what a 'cool factor' is, but I'd say that everybody I like is cool as far as I'm concerned.... |
