Vibration/Resonance

I am in the process of moving some equipment and was concerned about putting my integrated (NAD 317) on top of my D/A converter (Wadia 32). Are there any issues with resonance from the integrated or am I being over cautious? I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy New Year...and thank everyone for your advice. I really enjoy reading the threads and learning about hifi. Thanks.

i expect the effect of any resonance resulting from your set up would probably be imperceptable. that said, i would still err on the side of caution (or, would that be retentitiveness?) and not set the integrated atop the d/a converter. if you've got the time, why not experiment and see if you can hear any difference?

yes, you are worried about something even god could not perceive. of course that's only my opinion. tho i do know god. well, maybe not personally but, you know, a friend of my cousin's radiator repairman once saw the face of jesus on a vietnamese springroll. or so i'm told.
