VR-1 vs Onix Ref 1??

I see no response thus far. I can speak to the VR-1 combination with the Jolida 1501 RC. It wasn't to my liking, somewhat dull and lacking dynamics and a sense of space around the instruments. I was quite limited in my room, so that may have been part of the problem. However, when I substituted a Creek 5350 SE the speakers sounded completely different with more dynamics and space. Perhaps the Onix would respond better to the Jolida. Can you audition the Onix in your home?
