Wadia swift current ic

Hi i have a intermittent  crackling noise from both balanced and non balanced analogue outputs on wadia 861se (steve huntley modified)
what could this-be?
i heard it could-be the swift current ic?
what do they look like and where do i find it in player and indeed where can i buy this part/parts
