Hello would you be able to recommend some budget-friendly portable headphone usb dacs with a warm sound profile? Will be used for loooong flights with 3.5mm wired noise cancelling headphones. (not critical listening). Thank you!
I use an AudioQuest Dragonfly Red that works really well, but I’d categorize it as neutral rather than warm sounding. You might also check out this Cayin that uses R2R and may be a little warmer sounding. Best of luck.
