For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
Down by the River gets into the same issues as Golrush with overdub harmony vocals - layed in with no headroom ??? Else is just fantastic early Grunge....
The 96 x 24 Qobuz version gets a spin.... much less apparent but it’s overdriven backing vocals.... btw w a decent DAC it’s no contest, yet we shall order comparable vinyl.... because it’s what we do !!!!!
