I just listened to 3 Kansas records last night.  Interesting that I had either forgotten or never noticed that Don Kirschner got co-writing credit with Livgren on Song for America.  
Say, my esteemed gentleman, can anyone tell me how to search within a particular thread. I’m trying to relocate a post in our thread here from, I think, about a year ago. An erstwhile contributor posted a video (Most likely YouTube) of some spectacular relatively heavy fusion / jazz rock. Can’t remember the name of the band but want to get back to it. Apologize for the senile tangent here.
