@spiritofradio, many thanks for your kind words a couple of pages back. I definitely have some catching up to do…

For me; this is a “desert island” pick:

Bobby King / Terry Evans

“Live and Let Live”

1988 Rounder Records

Produced by Ry Cooder

It’s hard to imagine this was pressed during the first decade of “perfect sound forever.”

Diane Schuur & The Count Basie Orchestra.  I have a couple of her records that I bought a few years ago and didn't really "get into" them at the time.  I am working on culling some records and wanted to play them first and surprise, I really enjoyed them both, especially this one.  The big band swing is a lot of fun and this is a nice sounding recording.  Funny how our tastes can change.
Good news on my Patricia Barber Cafe' Blue Impex 1Step, Elusive Sound contacted me today and they are sending a replacement.
@big_greg  Just yesterday I received my copy of Cafe' Blue Impex 1-Step, also purchased from Elusive.  I have not yet played it.  Is there something I should be aware of and looking (listening) for that would warrant a replacement?  Please let me know.
Thank you.
@tubegb You’re very welcome.  Keep ‘em coming.
BTW, name of a frequent poster here @reubent is Tom which may have led to the mixup
