Sir Colin Davis conducts Sibelius - The 7 Symphonies (with Finlandia Op. 26/Der Schwan Von Tuonela Op. 22,2/Tapiola Op. 112). Boston Symphony Orchestra. Philips reissue 5LP box set. unknown release, originally 1977.

Going to start at No. 1 and see where I end up.

The Pink Box?   I have Sir Colin and the BSO Sibelius No. 4. in a different collection.   Will play it later tonight & maybe we can compare.

Got another box headed my way from Perfect Vinyl Forever that I am hoping will show up this week. Excited to hear some of the old favorites after Steve does his thing with them.

@spiritofradio

Yep, the pink box. I have better Sibelius collections, but this is the only one I have on vinyl. I’m constantly looking for the Maazel collection with the Wiener Philharmonic on vinyl for a good price. But there are others as well…..
