Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Another new arrival today. A purchase inspired by @sbank

The Cleveland Quartet with Pinchas Zukerman, viola & Bernard Greenhouse, cello
Brahms - The String Sextets Op. 18 & 36
RCA Red Seal 1982, 2 LP gatefold

@tgilb @slaw I too preordered Déjà Vu to replace my 1970 original and am hoping for the best. The last couple reissues I’ve received were not so great. I agree with @mammothguy54 on the digital sounding Thick As A Brick compared to my original and MFSL’s 45rpm of Brothers In Arms generally doesn’t surpass my original copy’s SQ and imaging.

According to the Acoustic Sounds website the Deja Vu info is below.

Mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Studios

Pressed at Optimal in Germany

It looks like it is the same as what they released in the box sets in 2021 but this release will only be the original single album cuts.

Does anyone have experience with the box sets?
