Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Jimi Hendrix - Free Spirit.  I wouldn't bother with this one, unless you're a musical history buff.  It's from his work as a sideman with an un-named band before he got famous.

Just arrived today.

The Danish String Quartet - Wood Works

Dacapo 2014, German release

- Basically, more traditional folk than ‘classical’, as they are most known for, but a wonderful recording none the less, and highly recommended for a bit of ‘change of pace’ vs their classical quartet offerings.

Second spin for this one….Danish String Quartet lead me right to it….

Lankum - The Livelong Day. Rough Trade 2LP gatefold,  2019

Fairport Convention - S/T US Release. A&M reissue, early 70’s, originally 1969
