@dayglow Thanks for the info on The Magazine. I was not aware. While the SQ is very good it would be difficult to compete with the high bar set by her first self titled album and Pirates that are absolutely stunning.

Patti Labelle-Tasty Side 1 Moe Bandy-Soft Lights And Hard Country Music Side 2 Aerosmith-Night In The Ruts Side 2 SQ* Uriah Heep- Live Side B(2 on label) SQ* Paul Simon-There Goes Rhymin’ Simon Side 1 SQ * Harold Betters-Funk City Express Side 2 Deep Purple-Perfect Strangers Side 2(B on label) Tchaikovsky-Symphony No.4(RCA VICS-1000) Side 1+2 SQ* Just missed Audiophile SQ. If I had to pick a winner Uriah Heep gets the edge considering its a live album regardless of whether or not it was cleaned up in the studio. Gary Thain is wicked on bass as well as the entire band, great live album if your a classic rock fan! Perfect Strangers is one of the best rock albums of the 1980’s. |
