Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Billy Joel “Songs in the Attic” Mobile Fidelity double 45RPM. Such a great album!
Songs in the attic is a great album, gets much playtime at my house.
But mine is regular 33rpm single l.p. variety.
Never heard of the double 45rpm but sounds interesting indeed!
I did The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots on red, German Vinyl. I think this is their best album and sonically this record is amazing. Just picked up the reissue copy on red vinyl and have been extremely impressed with the sound quality of this pressing for not a crazy price, $22. It was my 7th and 8th run thru this record in 3 days.
Kenny Dorham - Quiet Kenny on AP 200 gram vinyl. This is such a great performance and the sound quality on this 33rpm Analog Productions version is one of the best in my collection. It is incredible. I really didn't know a lot about him when I picked this up and Holy Smokes am I glad I did. I have listened to this copy about 25 times in the last few weeks.
Also Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West on newly reissued vinyl.
This is by far their best record but I am not overly impressed by the pressing I picked up. Honestly I never had this one on vinyl so nothing to compare it to but digital but there is a pretty good amount of noise between the tracks,  but the album is so great anyway.

"Awesome vocals with Robin licks..."

Am in complete agreement about the Tower/Bruce collaborations...
BLT, Truce & Seven Moons.

Don't forget Jack's excellent bass work.
