Read reviews and choose the one that most closely delivers the sonic characteristics you’re looking for. Either way, they both offer i2S inputs, so down the road I’d highly recommend adding a DDC to take advantage of better clocking, galvanic isolation, and the i2S input — it offers a very significant performance boost on the order of a complete DAC upgrade on the relative cheap IME. I bought a used Iris for my R2R DAC and the improvement was remarkable. Just something to consider and look forward to for the future, and best of luck.
