In case I was not clear the round knob is turned as you bias each KT88 with the 8 set screws so as to allow the digital readout for each individual tube.
It's heartwarming to know that in this digital age, the power of the press is not dead yet... I hope for some folks' sake that this amp is as good as Mr. Pearson says it is (this month).
I would say "yes", but I have had no true experience with Maggies. However, I believe that Jim Winey, when he first started to design this great speaker....used ARC "tubed" equipment.
