The fan work's on high and low speed. I thought the thermal shut down had a problem as well. Sent the GFA1A to a local high end repair shop to be tested, they could not get it to shut down? By the way, it had the problem the day I brought it home, it was 90 day's old then. I bought it from a guy that used a in store credit from a local high end shop. He could not pay for it and had to sell. When Brain and I went to listen to the system we wanted to crank it. But the seller lived in a apartment and could not let us. Well that sounded right, it was 9:30 went I bought it. Got it home and guess what happen, shut down.
Sean said "As such, trying to tie both channels together would in effect be trying to tie four amps together."
OK, like I said I am dumb, what would happen if I did? Go BOOM, light up the wireing in the houes, make the earth stand still or just sound like crapp?
I don't know stuff about this hobby but spend. But I am a gear head, I can bulid a 10.0 car (drag raceing 10.0 is zero too 139 MPH in 10 seconds) with a budget that it cannot be done with. Detail would help, in this hobby I could not set points or change plugs. ;-)
On the converting to a mono-block, any projected cost on this? Well that is a idea I like, that would help if used as a Sub Amp was well.
Speaking as a sub amp, how do I do that?
