PS Audio PCA-2 -vs- GCP-200 pre amp ?

Any thoughts on why PS Audio is replacing the PCA-2 with the GCP-200 so soon. I believe the PCA-2 was only on the market for @ 1 year.. It appears one can buy a factory fresh unit in the classifieds for @ $950 which is half price of retail. I have read many postive reviews about the PCA2 but tend to feel like I'm seeing a red flag here. I have just purchased a used Proceed HPA-2 (250wc) amp and am using an Adcom GFP-750 preamp. Some have said the PS audio preamps are much more musical then the Adcom. Would you recommend waiting for the GCP200 (I believe release date is end of February), or buying the PCA2 at @ $950 or looking at other preamp options. Thanks for your advice.

BUY IT WITH THE SEPATATED HCPS.
THEN CONNECT IT IN BALANCED MODE, ONLY.
BREAK IN PERIOD TWO WEEKS.

THE SOUND IS GRATE.

PS. PS AUDIO LEFT THIS PREAMP BECAUSE THEY HAD NO TIME TO CATCH UP IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PATENT RIGHTS FOR THEIR NEW PREAMP. OTHER WISE PCA-2 IS EXCELLENT.
