Stones and Beatles MFSL CD's?

HI....Has anyone else out there noticed the new crop of supposed Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs releases on Ebay of several Rolling Stones and many Beatles titles on CD? They are said to be made in West Germany and obviously out of print.None of the auctions provide any concrete proof of origin.Hey I'd buy them all if I knew they were legit.I'd sure like some help from any experts on the subject.....Thanks in advance

MFSL "NEVER" had the license to remaster the Beatles on CD. They could not afford it at the time in 1986/87.

Now there was a Co-op with MFSL and another label for the Stones-Hot Rocks 2 CD #820-142-2 (which was made in West Germany) double album. Other than that, nothing on these two big mega bands were avaulable on MFSL CD.

In essence what you see on Ebay are frauds.
I was curious and bought the Beatles White Album (from Ebay). It claims to be made in Italy. It doesn't play on my Proceed MDT (which will not play CD-Rs). I did play it on my old laserdisk player but it didn't sound any different,at all, from my regular issue White Album. I decided its just a bootleg copy and returned it.
What is the deal with the Beatle's "Abbey Road" that was supposedly pressed on a Japanese CD under license from MFSL? These were pressed several years ago. I've seen many similar listings on e-Bay over the last few months.
There are a bunch of MFSL BEatles CDs being sold now, but as far as I know all are frauds. They may be professionally manufactured, but I am postive that none are made from the original master tapes. They are more than likely nothing more than digital copies of the LPs. I haven't heard them, so some may actually sound better than the old EMI/Capitol CDs (if they're done right, with good equipment), but I wouldn't pay the outrageous prices that they're asking. $400+ for the set!!?? That's ridiculous.
