Memphis Jazz

I'm going to go out on a limb here and make a local suggestion to fellow audiogoners. I am from Memphis, to start off with and I know this band personally very well. That said go to the web site www.gamblebrothers.com. This is a blues/jazz based funcky jam band. If you haven't heard the soul that is present in the playing of our local musicians in any other band from any where else in the world, with one eception, brazilian samba/jazz. I don't think that their album is available online but you can contact them to make arangements.

Why you ask would one go to all this trouble? Take a listen to their music. I will arange an mp3 or shn upload for anyone that is interested. Once again, I am not a member of this band and will not in any way benefit from their CD sales. In my opinion this band is comprised of the best players in Memphis. The band consists of a sax, bass, drums and clavinet.
