Interconnect with great dynamics and bass slam ,

I recently purchased some Cardas Golden cross sepaker cables. They replaced my Dh Lab Q10s. I replaced the Q10s because i was getting some upper mid freq brightness.
I have Golden Cross interconnects from preamp to amp and from cd player to pre amp. The sound is very smooth and detailed .The bass and mid bass is not as authorative or as tight. The highs are better - more detailed and smooth.
The problem is the sound is almost too smooth the bass is kind of rounded off now .The sound is less dynamic.
My Question is.
Is there an interconnect that could give me back that great bass and dynamics of that i had with the Q10s, without the harshness i was getting. I think i would like to keep the Golden Cross speaker cables and try changing the ICs. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so here is something I can add. I have owned Tara labs cables most recently the ,08 SC and Air RS-1 IC's - the level just below the zero. I'm sorry to report that in MY system, they were bettered by much lower cost cabling- they do look pretty.... Not that they did not sound good, they were just rolled off in the highs and had a truncated decay with a low mid bass boost- They were "quiet" and created a "black" background-I'll give them that. These are my thoughts on them-your opinion will surely differ. I have owned nordost valhalla, jena labs, stealth dream, Acoustic Zen Absolute, Silent source, Mogami Gold, MIT, Pranawire, acrolink, Running Springs, Cardas etc. etc. No cable will drastically alter the sound of your system. If it does, that cable is either defective or your system is.... I am sorry. I have played the cable game for years and decided I'm done now. This thread has been going on for 6 pages now so that Keith can justify his purchase of 25k+ worth of cables in a 60k$ system. No experienced audiophile I know is setup like this.... no experienced audiophile I know will forgo a preamp for anything more than test run to see if they can do without it. The fact that he talks about price rather than the actual performance (outside of painting with broad strokes) of the cables is a true sign that he really has no idea.....I don't care if you have 100 years of audiophile experience- your principles and allocation of funds to reach nirvana are in IMO misguided. but in the end, whatever makes you happy. Have fun.
Hessec please do a better job of biting your tongue, this is the first negative post on a long and enjoyable thread. If you don't like a thread stay off, there are plenty more! It is so unnecessary to chime in with no value or reason except to blast Audiolabyrinth. That type of arrogance is what makes this hobby a turn off for many.
@ Hessec, Ok, lets be clear here, What do you have for a system!, Be honest! Do not fabricate a dream system you do not own!, why do you blast me?, I have done nothing to you!, I do not know you sir!, needless to say, I take alot of pride in building a system different than the common audiophile!,thats what puts my sound in a world class venue!, I have never had one listen to what I currently own and not be shocked!, experienced audiophile or not!, yes, I do not own the best!, to me, I love what I have!, so why does it matter to you what I own?, or say?, Bye!
