Interconnect with great dynamics and bass slam ,

I recently purchased some Cardas Golden cross sepaker cables. They replaced my Dh Lab Q10s. I replaced the Q10s because i was getting some upper mid freq brightness.
I have Golden Cross interconnects from preamp to amp and from cd player to pre amp. The sound is very smooth and detailed .The bass and mid bass is not as authorative or as tight. The highs are better - more detailed and smooth.
The problem is the sound is almost too smooth the bass is kind of rounded off now .The sound is less dynamic.
My Question is.
Is there an interconnect that could give me back that great bass and dynamics of that i had with the Q10s, without the harshness i was getting. I think i would like to keep the Golden Cross speaker cables and try changing the ICs. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I can tell you both, grey9hound, waxwaves, you guys will be hard pressed to find a better sounding cable that yall have at the pricepoint the both of you paid!!!, A nice cable indeed!,, congrats to the both of you!,, my first taras was no where as good as what the both of you have!, so yes, a good glimpse of the better cables by anybody!,, Happy listening!

@ grey9hound,, I made a mistake!, The ultimates are the top of the line cable from High-fidelity!, A couple weeks ago the cable company said they were not available yet!, If TBG has a pair, I assume they are available now!,, cheers!

@ TBG,Please excuse my clerical errors when I talk here,,,Your last post caught my attension!,, TBG,, You are a self made Expert!,,Your vast years of knowledge is well known thru-out the Audiogon!, It took you years of trial and error to know what may work for you and what may not work for you!,based on this exsperience, you may or may not give your educated recommendations to others!, I say educated based on the facts of learning by trial and error!,, now that said,, since you do have more exsperience in certain aspects of the high-end audio field than the common audiophile and based on your age!, well, believe it are not, you are a self made Expert!,, you may not flaunt it, or say nothing at all period, but at the end of the day, you are a self made expert rather you like it are not!, now take this as a compliment!, it is meant as a compliment to you!,, ok, TbG, I am confussed here with the pricing of High-fidelity products!, the cable company has alot lower pricing than the high-end store that has a classified listing here on the audiogon for High-fidelity cables!, TBG, I am talking a huge difference in the cost of money!, the cable company has the ultimates at a little less than $5,000.00,, but this other dealer that has their listing here on the audiogon has the same cable for a whoping $7,500.00!,,, My question is, Did the High-fidelity cable company change their pricing!, whats going on here?,, the cable co is selling for alot less!,, cheers!
