I've seen remastered versions of all the Supertramp CD's. Does anyone know if they sound better than the orginal versions? Or is this another ploy for consumers to buy a product again and sound worse like many of the new remastered products?
It is better than the original CD mastering. Due to better digital chips, processing and electronics the new one is more refined with better dynamics and overall cleaner less "digital" sound.

My listening impression is that the re mastered version is significantly better than the original, and I have both. I also have the MoFi LP, but that is not as good.( not as dynamic) The original LP is close, and the Japanese LP is even better than that. Over all for digital, the remaster is well done and very worth it..-Ken
