Any Audiophile recording of The Planets?

One of the best performances in excellent sound: Previn/LSO on EMI. The Mehta/LAPO on Decca/London is often cited as excellent sonically; the Previn is a better performance, imo.

Both MFSL and XRCD have recently released it. The MFSL can be played in multichannel(SACD), and sounds quite good. If you are looking for redbook check out the XRCD.

Telarc of the ATlanta Symphonic Orchestra dir. by Joel Levi is the best version I heard to date.
