Question about Bach/Starker

I purchased a set of the Bach Starker Merury released by Speaker Corner Records. I took the first set back because it was very noisy. There is a lot of record rumble, I have to turn my REL subwoofer off to play the records. The second set is just as noisy. Has anyone else had this problem with the set of Lps.
Thanks

I have a MMF-5 set up with no sub and all I ever hear is magnificent bass tone from my VR2s. There is some natural sounding rumble but I didn't know about the truck, I love the 2nd suite. The Fourier on CD is superb if you want to try a different version.
Mine sounds like there is a large diesel engine idling in my front yard. It's in the recording, must be down around 30-35Hz. I've read that it was the HVAC system at the recording studio that makes it rumble. Very unpleasant.
There is a noticable presence of the recording studio in the records, I think that it is also present in the original. Perhaps the subwoofer enhances this a bit out of the norm for the recording. Try adjusting the subwoofer as this may be coloring the base a bit.
