Two lines come to mind. The first is from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon:
"Far away, across the field,
The tolling of the iron bell,
Calls the faithful to their knees,
To hear the softly spoken, magic spell".
Later, Paul Simon came into the picture with this, from Hearts and Bones:
"What is the point of this story,
What information pertains,
The thought that life could be better,
Is woven indelibly,
Into our hearts,
And our brains".
Kinda hard to tell which one's my favorite. I'll flip on it.
