Hello Wadia Again and Agon

Something smells foul here.

If anyone remembers a thread posted here about a month ago
with the headline HELLO WADIA?

Well having tried to get ahold of Wadia to get some information regarding a repair to a Wadia poduct i own, i saved this thread in my favorites, however, upon returning to this link so that i could call the phone number that the gentleman at Wadia had given out, it said "sorry, this link must have been deleted" Now,, to me this seemed a bit strange as i have a record of EVERY SINGLE THREAD i have posted to or started, so i checked in MY PAGE and this thread is GONE! So i checked again im my pages to see if it were possible for the person originating a thread to cancel it, again, nothing.

I SURE would like an explanation on this one from someone!

hello yes I started the hello wadia thread and was wondering what happened to it also?
Well I just got my 860 back from 861se upgrade. Took one
month. That seemed a little long. Turns out they lost my
original RA# and had to reassign a new one, most likely
pushing my unit to the end of a long queue (probably the
same effect as if I had sent the unit into Wadia without an
RA# at all).

The upgrade was well worth the wait. I am delighted! They
are actively producing/upgrading/repairing product and from
all accounts are quite busy!

The phone number I used is 734-975-4217. This should
connect you to Barb who can redirect your call to wherever.

One of my threads vanished also. It was titled "Is deep bass response important?" Other threads of mine that were much less interesting still exist. Could it be that we have unearthed a conspiracy to hide the truth about Wadia and bass? In all seriousness though it seems a question to the moderator might be in order.
Gentlemen, various threads are "expired" after various lengths of time, based upon perceived long term usefullness. As well, the system flags certain threads for expiration based upon inactivity, or email address being within the thread, etc. Regardless, the thread is question was admittedly worth keeping as opposed to letting expire. We have extracted the previous thread/response, in particular the contact info as posted in that thread:

Concerning Communications with Wadia

To our customers and fellow audiophiles, It appears that some of you are having difficulty contacting, and or, receiving return communications from Wadia. Please accept my apologies on behalf of the company. Rest assured that we place high value on being able to interact directly with our customers.

Here at Wadia we have the great pleasure of having a receptionist who is available during normal business hours (Eastern Standard Time). Those of you who have spoken with Barb know how diligent she is in her efforts to provide customer care. However some of the time Barb is away from the phone assisting with other projects. In this situation we have a voicemail system that could perhaps use some improvement. We will work to update this in the coming weeks.

In the mean time if for any difficulty communicating with the company, I will be happy to directly assist you.

Thank you for your continued interest in Wadia.

Sincerely,

John W. Schaffer
VP Sales & Marketing
