The account will expire unless you will re-enter your personal information.
This problem concerns all Audiogon members.

You must fill in the form within 24 hours after receiving this e-mail,or
your account will be suspended.
So we kindly ask you to co-operate and fill in the form required for
validation..

THIS IS A FAKE. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.

No, Audiogon has not been hacked.

E-mails appear to have only gone out to those who have posted their e-mail address somewhere on the site (in the Forums or Listings.)

This is one of the reasons why we discourage people from doing so.

I believe you....not too many others seemed concerned...so I'll chalk it up as experience.

Never have I given that out before.

Give them a phony number, and let them go crazy trying to use it.

I think it may go beyond what Audiogon has said. To my knowledge, I have never provided my e-mail address in a post or in a listing - I got the scam directly to my e-mail, though
