I am using a Cary SLI-80 Signature with great success. (40WPC) Seems to be more than enough and the Cary is a fantabulous match with the Sonus.

(Also used a SS Electrocompaniet with them. (70WPC) This combo sounded very nice as well but just not Tubes.

Happy Holidays,

Chris
Thanks and keep sending more info.........just a note that this is the CONCERTO Books shelfs by Sonus Faber I am talking about!

Excellent matching was with Manley Stingray and Cary SLI 80.
cables: cardas cross ic and Nordost red dawn speaker cable.
(2 friends of mine with similar cabling). I guess 35-40 valve watts will do, also from other brands.

unless you mean concertinos ?
I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A RESTORED AUDIO RESEARCH DUAL 75A AND THE PIANOS ARE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SPEAKER. EVEN MY WIFE CAME DOWNSTAIRES, WHICH SHE NEVER DOES AND LISTENDED FOR HOURS. THE 75 A IS A 75 WATT PER CHANNEL TUBE AMP WITH 6550 OUTPUTS. I LOVE THE COMBINATION.
